"Had a relaxing weekend at Laurel Cottage. it is an old building full of character. Our room was excellent. Clean with a most comfortable 4 poster bed. Wayne and Alison are a most friendly couple, who go out of their way to look after you. Breakfast is to die for. Freshly prepared to order and plentiful. We wouldn\'t hesitate to recommend Laurel Cottage and it is our intention to return sooner rather than later."

"We stayed at Laurel Cottage for 3 nights over New Year. The cottage is very clean and welcoming and in a quiet position. We were in Room 3 with the Four Poster Bed, the room also had a settee which made the stay much more comfortable especially when watching the TV. The bedding was lovely with clean crisp white sheets. Parking was very easy no problem parking along the road. Only a couple of minutes walk into Windermere. The breakfasts were very good with a good selection, all hot cooked breakfast made to order. Alison and Wayne were very friendly and made you feel at home. What more could you want. We will definately be returning. "
